East Coast Bays provides Senior teams for the North Harbour Hockey Association (NHHA)

Premier and Divisional Grades for players of all ages and abilities. We usually provide 13 – 14 teams and each team has at least one 1-hour training on a week night and games played either the Saturday or Sunday, depending on the grade you play in.  A typical season is from March – August.

ECB Premier & Premier Reserve Grade

The Premier teams are often regarded as the marketing face of the Club and are considered a priority team. It is the home of our current Blackstick players when available. Through representative commitment/unavailability these team squads are often extended beyond 20 players. The teams are heavily “result focussed”.

Division Grades

The Division teams compete in the appropriate open grade competition. They are a mix of competitive and social players, predominantly adult teams with a blend of younger players. The teams continue to play and train over school holiday periods and it is expected that players are available for the full duration of the season.

Playing days:
  • Saturday: Premier Intercity, Premier 3, Division 2

  • Sunday: Premier 2, Division 1 & 3
